If you are currently employed through an EoR (Employer of Record) contract with Mauve or via one of Mauve’s valued partners and are looking to end your employment or resign, you can do so by following the process outlined below.

Sending a Signed Resignation Letter

The first step to ending your employment is to send a signed resignation letter to both Mauve and your line manager of the company that you work for. In your letter, be sure to include your name and any other relevant information that you think are important for Mauve and the company to know regarding your departure.

You can find your employer's address on your contract of employment that will also specify the amount of notice required for resignation.

Please note that resignation letters must be signed; those with only a typed name will not be accepted.

Next Steps with Mauve

Once Mauve and the client company receives your resignation letter, they coordinate and arrange the next steps of your offboarding. This typically involves confirming your final date of employment and any relevant details you have raised in your letter.

Mauve will then take care of your offboarding from the in-country payroll, arranging any final payments that may be due, and updating the relevant authorities in-country with any required forms or notifications that you are leaving employment.

Final Thoughts

Ending your employment through an EoR contract may seem daunting, but by following these steps, the process can be smooth and hassle-free. Remember to always communicate with Mauve and the company throughout to ensure your offboarding is as seamless as possible.

We hope this article has been helpful in guiding you through the process of ending your employment/resigning through an EoR contract. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your employer or Mauve for assistance.
