The Misclassification Tool helps users to better understand the risks of hiring contractors via eight simple ‘yes or no’ questions. Your responses to these questions will determine a low, medium, or high likelihood of risk and help you better understand the potential pitfalls of hiring contractors for your business.
To use the Misclassification Tool, please follow these steps:
1. Log into Mauve Insight.
2. From the main navigation menu, open the Helpful Tools section.
3. Click Proceed.
4. Respond to each question by clicking yes or no based on the situation either with a contractor you have already engaged, or with a contractor you are considering hiring.
5. Once you have answered all questions, you will be provided with a low, medium or high risk score.
6. If you would like to obtain a comprehensive paid report, click Contact us and select Agree & request.
Your request will then be sent to the Mauve team, who will promptly reach out to you to discuss a comprehensive analysis of the contractor.
Alternatively, you can select Start over to repeat the process for another contractor.
