How to Review Absence Requests

As a manager, you may receive absence requests from your workers. This article will guide you through the process of reviewing and responding to these requests.

Step 1: Receive the Email Notification

When one of your workers submits an absence request, you will receive an email notification. This email will inform you that a request has been submitted and provide a link to view the request.

Step 2: Click on the View Request Link

Clicking on the View Request link in the email will direct you to the absence request. This is where you can review the details of the request.

Step 3: Check the Absence Request Details

Take a moment to review the details of the absence request. This will include the dates and type of absence requested by the worker.

Step 4: Review Attached Timesheet Files

If the worker has attached any timesheet files to their request, you can review them in the Files area of the record. This will give you a better understanding of the worker's schedule and any potential impact on their work.

Step 5: Approve the Request

If you are satisfied with the absence request, you can click the Approve button. This will notify the worker and the Mauve Group Payroll Department of your decision.

Step 6: Reject the Request

If you are not satisfied with the request, you can click the Reject button. This will also notify the worker and the Mauve Group Payroll Department of your decision.

Step 7: Notification of Decision

Once you have made a decision on the absence request, both the worker and the Mauve Group Payroll Department will receive an email notification of your decision.

Congratulations! You now know how to review and respond to absence requests from your workers. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
