Income tax withholding

All income above 65,000 NOK (about 7,400 USD or 6,500 EUR) is subject to income taxes.

General Income Tax Rate: The general income tax rate is 22%. This rate is applied after two general deductions: the personal allowance (currently at 52,450 NOK or about 6,000 USD or 5,245 EUR) and the minimum standard deduction (currently at 46% up to a maximum of 106,750 NOK or about 12,200 USD or 10,675 EUR).

National Insurance Contribution: All income is subject to a national insurance contribution.
