A salary deposit is a sum collected upfront, normally equivalent to one month's salary.

This deposit is invoiced and payable immediately upon our client signing the proposal and completing the assignment form for the worker.

The salary deposit forms part of our commitment to ensuring workers are paid on time, and that tax and social security contributions are remitted to the in-country authorities in line with local law.

In some countries, additional deposits might be needed due to local compliance regulations, severance and notice periods. If these are necessary, your Mauve Account Manager will provide specific guidance.
